In using editorr and its products, services, and offerings, you are deemed to have read and agreed to our Terms and Conditions, described herein.
If you elect to register a User account as a customer of editorr, you agree to adhere to and be bound by the following Terms and Conditions, which together with our Privacy Policy, regulate editorr's relationship with its Users in relation to its Website and Services.
A. Terminology
“User” refers to those individual(s) who submit text and content to be proofread and / or edited by editorr's Editing Team.
“Service(s)” refer to the proofreading, editing, and / or rewriting of a User's submitted text.
"Editor" refers to our partners in providing Editorial Services to our Users through editorr’s website and mobile applications. editorr's Editors are independent contractors and are not salaried employees of editorr, LLC.
"Job" or "Submission" refers to the text or written content that a User submits to editorr to be proofread and edited by a member of our Editing Team.
"Work" refers to the Editing and modification of Users’ texts by Editors.
"Editing" refers to the rewriting, revision, editing, and / or proofreading performed by editorr's Editors.
“Website’’ refers to editorr's online portal: www.editorr.com
“Agreement” refers to the Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) attached to our Privacy Policy.
B. Intellectual Property Rights
(a) All material on this Website, including text, images, artwork, and / or data is protected by relevant intellectual property and copyright law(s). All copyrights are exclusively held by editorr, LLC, unless otherwise credited.
(b) Website material may not be copied, reproduced, republished, downloaded, posted, broadcast, and / or transmitted in any way, except for a User's personal and non-commercial use.
(c) Prior written consent of the copyright holder must be obtained for any other use of Website material. The copyright to all images on this Website and mobile applications remain with the artist or copyright holder at all times.
C. Limitation of Liabilities
(a) While every effort is made to ensure that the content of this Service is accurate, editorr makes no representations or warranties in relation to the accuracy or completeness of the information found at www.editorr.com. While the content and Services are provided in good faith, editorr does not warrant that the information will be kept up-to-date, be true and not misleading, or that this Service will always (or ever) be available for use.
(b) Nothing in the Service provided by the Editorial Team should be taken to constitute professional advice or a formal recommendation, and we exclude all representations and warranties relating to the content and use of this Service. Individual results may vary, and we do not guarantee the accuracy of the Service. In no event shall editorr, LLC, its employees, directors, shareholders, advisors, or anyone acting on its behalf be liable to Users or to any third party, for any reason whatsoever, as a result of the use of the company's product or Services.
(c) You hereby irrevocably release all of the aforementioned persons from any liability of any kind for any consequence arising from use of Service by User, including for any loss, financial or non-financial, e.g., loss of profit, damage to reputation, fees, expenses, or damages, direct or indirect, loss of contracts, goodwill, data, information, income, anticipated savings, and/or business relationships, whether or not advised of the possibility of such damage, in connection with the use of this Service and / or any linked websites.
(d) In addition to any other legal or equitable remedies, we may, without prior notice to you, immediately terminate this Agreement or revoke any or all of your rights granted under this Agreement. Upon any termination of this Agreement, you shall immediately cease accessing and using the Service, and we shall, in addition to any other legal or equitable remedies, immediately revoke all password(s) and account identification issued to you and deny your access to and use of this Website, in whole or in part. Any termination of this Agreement shall not affect the respective rights and obligations (including without limitation, payment obligations) of the parties arising before the date of termination.
(e) editorr, LLC is not responsible for any lost or deleted requests submitted to the Website or mobile platform. It is each User's responsibility to ensure that they have proper backups of their work before and after submitting their original content to the Website or mobile platform.
D. User Accounts
(a) If you use any editorr Service, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your User account and password, and for restricting access to your computer. You also agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password.
(b) If you are under 18 years of age, you may only use editorr's Services with the participation or consent of a parent or guardian.
(c) Unless otherwise allowed by special request and arrangement, only one account is permitted per household or IP address.
(d) editorr, LLC reserves the right to refuse Service, terminate User accounts, remove or edit content submitted to the Website, and / or cancel requests without warning and in its sole discretion.
E. Usage of Services
By using this Service, you freely accept and agree to the exclusions and limitation of liabilities stated above. If any of the points of these Terms and Conditions are found to be unenforceable under the applicable law, it will have no bearing on the enforceability of the remainder of this notice.
1. Service
editorr is an on-demand editing service that allows Users to have their writing edited by professional editors whom editorr has deemed qualified to perform such Services. It is imperative that you understand exactly what to expect and that your editor understands exactly what to produce. Upon submitting a Job at www.editorr.com, you will promptly receive a price quote. This quote covers the editor’s fee for proofreading the text and performing any necessary edits to fix perceived grammatical, spelling, and / or punctuation errors. Our editors will also improve consistency and textual framework. By submitting a Job to our Website or mobile platform, you agree to pay the quoted price for that Job.
2. Payment
When Users submit an order to editorr, the payment is transferred to a dedicated holding account. Payments do not accrue interest while in holding. All payments are made in USD. Purchased words do not expire and hold no cash value.
3. Distribution and Deadlines
All projected turnaround times for delivery of editorr's Services are approximate and are based on previous orders of similar size. editorr, LLC cannot be held accountable for any loss or damage caused by or resulting from delayed furnishing of its Services. If a significant delay ensues, please contact us at info@editorr.com to ensure that your Job was submitted properly.
4. The Editor’s Right to Decline to Provide Service
Upon acceptance of a Job, the assigned Editor has the right to decline Services if the text submitted by the User does not meet the criteria that make it possible for our editors to provide our Service. Examples of text that may be rejected include: text which is unoriginal or plagiarized or which is largely copied from another source; text which contains threats, vulgar language, profanity, racism, and / or hate speech; and text which requires major rewriting, beyond the scope of the Services offered by editorr, LLC.
5. The User’s Right to Decline the Service
When a Job has been completed and returned to the User, the User has three days (72 hours) to request a refund or reworking of the Job. If the User fails to request a refund or re-do within this time period, he or she is deemed to have accepted the Service as acceptable and complete. If the User requests a refund for Services performed by a member of editorr's Editorial Team, he or she is expected to explain his or her reason(s) for doing so.
If the Service performed is found to have fallen short of editorr's Writing Standards, the User will receive a full refund. editorr reviews refund requests on a case-by-case basis.
6. Confidentiality
editorr, LLC acknowledges that its editors may be privy to confidential, private, or sensitive information and data. To ensure the User’s confidentiality, all editorr editors shall agree to work under a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA). The NDA is attached to editorr’s Privacy Policy. Editors hired by editorr are not salaried employees, they are independent contractors. editorr cannot be held accountable for any lapse of confidentiality on the part of one of its independent contractors.

8. Agreement
This Agreement is to be considered a legal contract between the User and editorr, LLC. Users agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions, which together with the Privacy Policy, govern editorr's relationship with its Users in relation to the Website and Services performed by editorr's Editorial Team.
9. Governing Law and Agreement to Arbitrate
This document is solely governed by the relevant and applicable laws of the United States of America (USA). Any conflict arising from or in connection with this document, including any disputes concerning its existence, validity, and / or termination, shall be settled by arbitration under the relevant and applicable laws of the United States of America (USA). No other institutional, territorial, regional, and / or national laws or conditions are applicable under any circumstances.
10. Right Of Refusal
editorr, LLC and its representatives reserve the right to refuse any request and / or terminate a User's account without notice or cause. Any User who submits content that is found to be threatening, harmful, hateful, racist, or otherwise in poor taste or poor judgment may be removed from the Website. Any User who uses profanity or aggressive language towards any member of editorr's staff will be immediately removed and banned from our Website.
11. Abuse Of Services
Any User who is found to intentionally or unintentionally abuse the Services or offers provided on our Website and / or mobile platform will be immediately removed from our Website and will not be entitled to any refunds for prior purchases.
12. Chatting With Editors
At no time should an editor ask for a User's personal or contact information. If you are ever asked to share any personal information or contact information with an editor, refuse to do so and contact us immediately at support@editorr.com.
Users are also prohibited from requesting to contact editorr editors outside of the editorr platform. This includes asking for an editor's personal email address, phone number, social media profile information, or any other contact information. Users who request to contact an editor outside of the editorr platform may be suspended or removed from the Website.
13. Minimum Job Requirements
Users may submit a job of any length to be edited. However, there will be a 50-word minimum charge for standard job submissions and a 500-word minimum charge for uploaded document submissions.
